Floor-tracked koi pond using Kinect
Floor tracking in an entrance/waiting hall of a fancy restaurant in Dubai (CLAP) using two overhead Kinect sensors, in collaboration with HYBRID Xperience.
Technical details:
- Both the fluid simulation and the school of fish uses Nvidia Flex particle system
- The animation of the fish are offset with a random value to give a more natural feel, using a custom GLSL MAT
- The two overhead Kinect sensors used the depth image and were calibrated a for a seamless transition
